About the Role:
We’re hiring a Customer Engagement Specialist - (Texting Focused) to manage and respond to high volumes of messages with the goal of setting in-home sales appointments. You’ll be the first point of contact for homeowners expressing interest in our services—similar to a call center rep, but your focus is all through text.
Responsibilities:
• Send and respond to outbound/inbound SMS messages with professionalism and clarity
• Set and confirm in-home appointments for our sales consultants
• Use AI tools and CRM platforms to streamline outreach and follow-ups
• Handle objections or questions from homeowners and keep conversations on track
• Communicate clearly with internal teams to ensure seamless scheduling
• Maintain accurate records of leads, outcomes, and performance metrics
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong writing skills and a natural ability to connect via text
• Tech-savvy with experience in CRMs, SMS platforms, or AI tools
• Comfortable managing large volumes of messages efficiently
• Sales-minded and goal-driven—appointment setting experience is a big plus
• Professional, positive, and responsive communication style
• Fast learner with strong attention to detail
Schedule:
• Full-time
• In-person role at our Columbus, OH office
• Monday–Friday (occasional weekend flexibility a plus)
Compensation:
• $17.50/hour base pay
• Performance bonuses ranging from $1,000–$1,500 per week
